Absolute magic !!!!!!!!!!!! You can't take your eyes off her. When I watch her skate ( or should I say float ) across the ice in those moments I haven't a care in the world. I find absolute peace and joy. THE MOST INCREDIBLE YOUNG WOMAN. She's not just an athlete, she's a therapist. She exudes love, joy and peace. GOD BLESS MICHELLE. It's now 24 yrs since Nagano and it still burns me that MK lost the Olympics to Lipinski. No question Tara was great and I guess Michelle had the one loose landing on her Flip but come on. In the old system her artistry was at least 2-3 tenths better than Tara and that should've carried the day. I also still say MK would've won if she skated after Tara vs before. Ah well, it's clear who's gone down in history as the better skater. By far, and it's not Lipinski

Without a kid's body and weight, Tara was nothing. Unfortunately, Tara grew up and everything changed, so she retired because had no choice. Tara had a short life on the ice, totally overrated at 1998 Olympics. Michelle was robbed.

So glad they did away with compulsory figures. Peggy Fleming won gold in part because she was excellent in that part of the competition. Denise would have won over everyone .. but she did go on to have a very successful career skating for many years. Winning dozens of titles. Denise was fearless on her programs, music choices, costumes.. she is the G O A T !

There is only one NObody can given the performance that Michelle Kwan can.....you can skate from one end of ice to another and jump 50 times but the complete emotional feeling and work she does will NEVER be matched...she should have won gold ..........will always love her
